Fascinating virtual worlds are being created for David Garrett's anniversary tour "UNLIMITED - Greatest Hits - Live 2019" under the direction of Andreana Clemenz.
Background:
In 2019, the multiple Echo Award winner launched his anniversary tour in Chemnitz. "The tour is something very special for me," Garrett told dpa, "on the one hand, it is musically my ten-year crossover anniversary, which makes me incredibly proud, and on the other hand, the production is the most technically demanding thing we have ever implemented. We have put together a very exciting musical program and combine it with completely new animation techniques from the gaming industry," said Garrett.
Overall, the video content for the UNLIMITED Tour by David Garrett was created and produced with the latest gaming techniques. Using a real-time engine "Notch", the live images were edited to seamlessly merge with pre-produced 2D and 3D virtual worlds. The pre-production not only includes 2D and 3D animations, but various pre-produced shots in the green screen and motion capture studios. Complete virtual worlds were created and skillfully synchronized with the live performance in conjunction with exact staging, lighting design, and kinetic elements, complimenting David Garrett's musical concept performance.
